Air Conditioner Condenser Maintenance- how to keep your "cool"
If you own a home with air conditioning you may find that during the summer months your air conditioner condenser may become dirty or clogged with pollen and dust, especially if you are in an area where sod has not yet been laid.
We suggest you inspect your unit on a monthly basis during the summer months prior to sod. Following sod, and annual inspection is sufficient. A clogged condenser unit can reduce the efficiency of your homes air conditioning by up to 50%, so maintenance will help keep your cost of ownership low.
Not sure how to tell when your condenser is needing a clean? Check out the pictures below of some examples.
